Privacy policy
This policy explains how Ampletic processes personal data relating to use of the website and enquiries submitted through the contact form.
Data controller
Benjamin Diallo, a French sole trader operating under the business name Ampletic, is the controller of the personal-data processing described on this page.
Address: Place de la rhodiaceta, 69009 Lyon, France.
Contact: contact@ampletic.com.
Data we process
When you use the contact form, Ampletic processes the information you provide directly:
- first name and surname;
- email address;
- subject and content of your enquiry;
- company, if you choose to provide it;
- telephone number, if you choose to provide it.
Fields marked with an asterisk are required to handle your enquiry. Without this information, the form cannot be submitted. Company and telephone number are optional.
To protect the form against abuse, the server also processes the connection IP address and uses a pseudonymised fingerprint derived from it to limit submissions made too close together. The contact-form code does not store the raw IP address in a database.
Purposes and legal bases
The information is used to respond to your enquiry, follow it up and arrange further discussion. This processing is based on Ampletic’s legitimate interest in responding to enquiries addressed to it.
Where your enquiry concerns a potential project, quotation or service, processing may also be necessary in order to take pre-contractual steps at your request.
Technical data used to secure the form and prevent abuse is processed on the basis of Ampletic’s legitimate interest in protecting its website and email service.
Recipients and technical provider
Enquiries are received and handled by Benjamin Diallo for Ampletic. To the extent necessary to operate the website and email service, the data is also processed by Infomaniak Network SA, the web-hosting and email provider.
Ampletic does not sell or rent personal data submitted through the contact form.
Retention
Messages and contact details received through the form are kept for as long as necessary to handle and follow up the enquiry and, where no contractual relationship is established, for no longer than three years from the most recent contact initiated by the person concerned.
If the enquiry results in a contractual relationship, information required for that relationship may be retained for the periods required by applicable contractual, accounting or legal obligations.
Technical anti-abuse data is used only to prevent closely repeated submissions. Server access and error logs are managed by Infomaniak in accordance with the retention period applicable to its hosting service.
Hosting and international transfers
The website and email service are hosted by Infomaniak Network SA in Switzerland. Infomaniak states that it hosts service data within its infrastructure located in Switzerland.
Switzerland is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission under the GDPR. Personal data can therefore be transferred to Switzerland without an additional international-transfer mechanism.
Audience measurement and language preference
Infomaniak provides Ampletic with aggregated traffic statistics generated from technical server data. They are used solely to measure website traffic and ensure the proper operation of the site. No advertising tracking or profiling is carried out.
If you manually select French or English, a preference containing only the value fr or en is saved in your browser’s local storage so that the website can remember your choice. This information remains on your device and is not used for advertising tracking or audience measurement.
Your rights
You may request access to your personal data, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing. Where processing is based on Ampletic’s legitimate interests, you may also object on grounds relating to your particular situation. Where the GDPR conditions are met, you may exercise your right to data portability.
To exercise your rights or ask a question about the processing of your personal data, email contact@ampletic.com.
If, after contacting Ampletic, you believe that your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data-protection authority, the Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés (CNIL).
Automated decision-making
Personal data collected through the website is not used for automated decision-making or profiling.
